The Project Implementation Unit - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PIU-PMD) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for the selection of an Individual Consultant for the position of Software Engineer under the World Bank-funded 'Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) / Modernization of Hydromet Services of PMD in Pakistan (MHSP)' (Ref No: PK-PMD-562886-CS-INDV). Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computational Science, with at least 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in software engineering, systems integration, and digital solution development. Experience in Linux, cloud computing, API development, and software architecture is required. Selection will follow Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants as per World Bank Procurement Regulations. The consultant will be hired on a full-time contract based at PIU PMD, Saidpur, Islamabad.
