Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), established by the Government of the Punjab, invites online applications for the position of Deputy Director (Civil Works) (01 Post). Qualification requirement: Master's / BS (16 years of education – at least 2nd Division or equivalent) in Civil Engineering from a PEC-accredited program, or higher qualification in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management, from a well-reputed national or international university/institution duly recognized by the HEC, along with a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Registered Engineer (RE) or Professional Engineer (PE). Experience requirement: Minimum four (04) years of relevant post-qualification experience in infrastructure planning, engineering and works, building maintenance, structural supervision, preparation of PC-I documents and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) or scrutiny of Technical Sanction (TS) estimates within a government, semi-government, autonomous body, or a well-reputed private sector organization. Age limit is 26–45 years (age relaxation as per government policy has already been included in the age limits mentioned against each post). The appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially for a period of three (03) years, which may be extended as per rules/requirement. Offered salary package is Lumpsum @ Rs. 350,000/- per month + 10% annual increment. Applications must be submitted online at https://pectaa-jobs.pesrp.edu.pk not later than 12th August 2026 (Wednesday) before office closing hours (5:00 PM). Applications submitted by post or by hand will not be accepted. Applicants currently employed in government service / semi-government service / autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department. Candidates possessing foreign degrees/qualifications must attach an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), or the relevant regulatory forum, failing which their application shall be rejected. The Authority reserves the right to conduct a screening/written test for the shortlisting of candidates (details to be shared separately), and only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (no TA/DA admissible).
